HALO 2600: HALO GOES 8-BIT

Halo 2600 is Halo re-imagined for the Atari era thanks to former VP of Microsoft's game publishing division, Ed Fries. Unlike current games where you can get hit a million times before you die, in the Atari age, one hit typically killed you. And there's no saving games, either. Perhaps a cheat code is floating out there on the interwebs. Eat your heart out. And, if you're curious to hear Ed Fries story on how the Halo 2600 game came about, read this. Via: Alyssa Milano (Yea, that one.)

Play Halo 2600 here.
