AND SO THE SUPER AD BOWL WEEKEND BEGINS

Lot of buzz per usual surrounding the $3 million ads set to appear for Superbowl XLV. So far the front runner, VW Darth Vader, has already set the internet on fire. I'm hoping for even bigger surprises come Sunday. Here's the mentioned ad and a few others either banned or already up. With 5 million views (as of this moment) for VW, they may have garnered enough hype to render their ad purchase redundant. Though with 200 million plus watching the biggest sporting event in America, that number is merely a fraction. Via: Adfreak

Banned PETA ad (Ashamed to include this one. But it's banned, and the people of PETA just keep resorting to whatever shameless tactics they can to get attention)

CAMPER, A WOMAN CAN NEVER HAVE ENOUGH SHOES

This spot, by Camper of Spain, takes a nice subtle spin on Valentine's Day to promote their free shipping for the week. By only focusing on the feet, Camper is able to tell a timeless story made possible only by the foot fetish, er, shoe fetish of a woman. Props. Oh, and their shoes are damn comfortable to boot.

VERIZON GOES ALL SPOOF'D OUT WITH THEIR NEW MAP ADS

Just in time for V Day, Verizon goes for the other love muscle, the heart, with their new 3G coverage ads. This time, they're using the Big Red theme song and Da Beers diamonds to drive the point home. Is there a map for that AT&T?
