TRIUMPH THE INSULT COMIC DOG DESTROYS THE WIENER CIRCLE

Conan unleashed Triumph The Insult Comic Dog onto Chicago's Wiener Circle last night. The little bastard has still got it. Living in Chicago, the Wiener's Circle has a special place in my heart and the insults Triumph drops onto these loudmouths are what us mere humans can only dream of replicating.

TEXTEES OR GLOVES FOR YOUR THUMBS.

Saw this on MTv of all places late last night. Last I checked, texting wasn't such an issue that I needed a typing condom. But the low budget commercial is nothing short of awesomely horrible with its catchy 'Get a Textee' anthem.  I can't wait to see your fat thumbs with these things on.

BANKSY TAKES ANOTHER BITE OUT OF THE BIG APPLE

Banksy's tagging spree makes its way back to NYC, a familiar playground for Mr.Banksy. So it's no surprise that he brought his best work since he started this cross-country North America tag-a-thon. His 'heart doctor' makes a reappearance, first appearing in SF. As long as there are walls, I'm sure Banksy will find a way to cover them all. His ability to capture the mood of society with brutal honesty and irreverence seems endless and brilliant wherever he goes.

FEB 27TH WILL GO DOWN IN INFAMY

Come out one and all, 'cause The Baddies is back in Chicago for another night of mayhem, offensive ads and unadulterated fun. If you're in advertising, good. If you're not, no worries. But make sure you have a baddie with you (that's an ad that you made for a real product. To win the coveted 'Golden Shower,' one must create a baddie so awful, so offensive that it stuns and creates murmurs through the beer filled Slugger's room. RSVP here.

BOOST MOBILE TAKES TOP SUPERBOWL HONORS

In a somewhat crowded field of old cliches, overused babies and over-the-top theatrics, there was one commercial that won me over. Not to sound biased, because I am from Chicago, but the geriatric Superbowl XX champs reprising their roles brought me back to my childhood and left the case for borrowed interest wide open. If only Walter Payton was around to enjoy it.
