STEPHEN COLBERT CAN ADD AWESOME COMMENCEMENT SPEAKER TO HIS RESUME

Northwestern's most famous alum, Stephen Colbert, returns to campus and delivers one of the greatest graduation speeches. Of. All. Time. It's a great rebound for a school trying to put their f&xk saw past behind them. Good luck, Northwestern Wildcats class of 2011.

Every college institution take note. This is how you inspire your graduates, with someone inspiring— intellectually and humanly.  I don't even remember mine. I think it was a state senator. Needless to say, it was not this. Via Open Culture

JAPAN-0-GRAPHIC

An eye opening videographic look into the weirdness that is Japanese culture. One fact: 26,000,000,000 chopsticks are used every year in Japan. Of those, 90 percent of these disposable wooden chopsticks are sourced from China. Enjoy!

HOUSE OF NUMBERS: REWRITING HIV/AIDS

From the official website:

"In House of Numbers, an AIDS film like no other, the HIV/AIDS story is being rewritten. This is the first film to present the uncensored POVs of virtually all the major players; in their own settings, in their own words. It rocks the foundation upon which all conventional wisdom regarding HIV/AIDS is based. House of Numbers could well be the opening volley in a battle to bring sanity and clarity to an epidemic gone awry."
