Gizmodo has put together this map to figure out who's winning the battle to control the money train. Is this the modern day gold rush or another bubble? It appears we're in for an explosion of growth and a resurrection of the ad and publishing industries. It will be interesting to see how much of a stake these companies end up with. WASN'T HE ALREADY DEAD?
To my surprise, and probably many others, J.D. Salinger died today. And it's no surprise either. Reclusive in nature and lacking much published material since the landmark The Catcher In The Rye, let's take a moment to appreciate this literary legend.
January 1, 1919-January 27,2010
According to Gawker
Supposedly, he's still been writing constantly over these last 50 years. The battle over his unpublished work will probably be drawn out and bitter, but a nation of former insufferably precocious little bastards waits with bated breath.
