I recognize a few of the faces. There's Sigorney Weaver in Alien. There's Thom Yorke and Ed Neil, too. And a couple shots from the classic 2001. via: ffffound & 3tongallery

BATTLE QUEST: DIGITAL EMPIRE
Gizmodo has put together this map to figure out who's winning the battle to control the money train. Is this the modern day gold rush or another bubble? It appears we're in for an explosion of growth and a resurrection of the ad and publishing industries. It will be interesting to see how much of a stake these companies end up with. PAY TO PRESS PLAY
According to Nielsen, we're a lot more generous than the media would like to believe. Based on a poll of average internet users - those willing to pay for various media consumption they already get for free - people are actually quite content if the cost came right out of their pocketbooks.

COMCAST, WHY DO YOU HATE KATIE HOLMES?
Was watching Go, a college aged favorite. You had rave going grocery working youngins. And you had Katie Holmes. But if you look at this picture, you'll see the description Comcast gave me for it. And what you'll notice? Katie Holmes isn't even listed in the credits. Wtf? The most well known person in the movie, and she doesn't even get mentioned. What's going on here? Oh, and call me out of touch, but who is Desmond Askew and why does he get top billing?

SHAKESPEARE LEBOWSKI. YES, YOU READ THAT RIGHT
Apparently, there's a Big Lebowski Shakespeare play kicking around with the premise 'What if Shakespeare wrote 'The Big Lebowksi.' Being one of my all time favorite movies, my mind is now completely blown to pieces. See for yourself.

FROM HUMAN TO AVATAR IN 60 SECONDS
Really amazing video of how one artist made a regular human in to a Na'vi using a few 'simple' tools in photoshop.
