KENNY "K-SWISS" POWERS

Sometimes, a forgotten brand will live forgotten no more. By hiring fictional blowhard —and washed up flamethrower— Kenny Fucking Powers to endorse the K-Swiss Tubes running shoe, K-Swiss is putting their balls on the table and upping the ante in the athletic shoe category. Shoes look good to boot. The only people I know who wore K-Swiss shoes was my brother in high school and probably some 90210 character.

Don't call it a comeback? If K-Swiss endorses Kenny throughout this season of Eastbound And Down, press releases included, this may take the prize for best use of a fictional character in an ad campaign. Great work, 72 and Sunny. via: FOD and Creativity

PORN IN THE USA by JONATHAN YEO (NSFW,duh)

British artist Jonathan Yeo has been making a statement about the United States culture for a few years now. You can see the whole series of 'Porn in the USA' courtesy of LAZ Gallery @ 320 North Beverly Drive in Beverly Hills. Show runs through August 8th, 2010.

Yeo masters the art of subtlety of photo collage and incorporates erotic imagery to create what looks like seemingly harmless portraits.   From your attention craving politicians to socialites to the every day, Yeo has caused quite a stir with his subject matter. He has also given this series a nice twist with his foliage collection done with the same erotic composition. Look closely. You may or may not like what you see. via: Jonathan Yeo

PORNSTARS TAKE ON PIRACY

It's not everyday that you are presented with a PSA that really hits you in the heart....or love muscle. Over the years, digital piracy has been a rising dilemma for the entertainment industry. First it was Napster taking down the music industry. Then it was Pirate Bay with their booty of torrents. Now it's Sinnamon Love, Ron Jeremy and your other nighttime favorites pleading their case for you to open your wallet before you open your pants. via:AdFreak
